Shelly EM Mini Gen4 WiFi/Matter Energy Meter

The Shelly EM Mini Gen4 is a compact energy meter designed to measure power consumption in real time. Despite its compact size, it offers features familiar from larger Shelly devices - including power measurement, energy consumption and integration with smart home systems. The device supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Zigbee connectivity and is compatible with the Matter protocol, providing great integration flexibility.

Various capabilities

Thanks to its miniature form factor (just 29 × 34 × 16 mm), the Shelly EM Mini Gen4 fits easily into standard installation boxes and small switchboards. It can even be mounted where other devices won't fit - for example, behind an outlet or in a box at the meter.

Two-way energy measurement

The meter allows accurate measurement of voltage, current, power and energy - both drawn from the grid and given off (e.g. from PV installations). Parameter tracking is done with ±1% accuracy, and data can be stored on the device or exported to CSV and JSON files.

Wi-Fi, Zigbee and Bluetooth connectivity

The Shelly EM Mini Gen4 supports various communication protocols - Wi-Fi (including ax), Zigbee and Bluetooth. It can work independently on a local network, integrate with the Shelly cloud, or operate in a home automation system via MQTT, HTTP, WebSocket or Matter. The device also has a built-in web interface and scheduling, webhook and scripting functions.

Additional features and integrations

With BLE Gateway mode, the device can transmit data from Shelly BLU sensors to the local network or the cloud. It also acts as a Wi-Fi and Zigbee signal booster, helping to extend the range of these networks in IoT installations. The meter will be great for home automation systems, analyzing energy consumption or detecting malfunctions in appliances.
