SONOFF MINI-ZB2GS-E is a state-of-the-art ZigBee 3.0 two-channel wall switch designed for stable, fast and safe control of lighting and other electrical circuits. It allows independent control of two loads, acts as a ZigBee router to amplify a mesh network, offers Detach Relay mode, support for scenes, schedules, voice control and integration with popular smart home platforms - all in a sleek, minimalist flush-mount form.

Stable ZigBee 3.0 communication and dual channel support

The switch uses the ZigBee 3.0 protocol (IEEE 802.15.4), ensuring low latency and high reliability of operation. Importantly, the device acts as a ZigBee Router, thus strengthening and extending the range of the mesh network in the home. The ceramic antenna used and the Enhanced / Turbo Mode further improve the stability of the connection, which translates into more reliable operation of the entire smart home system - especially in larger apartments and houses. In addition, the dual-channel design allows you to control two circuits from a single point, such as a ceiling lamp and a table light, or two light zones in one room. Such a solution means fewer switches on the wall, a consistent look and more convenience on a daily basis - both for manual control and from the app. Each channel can be configured independently - including automation and scenes.

Detach Relay mode - ideal for smart bulbs

The detach relay function ensures that the physical button does not cut off power, but only sends a control command. As a result, smart bulbs do not lose their connection to the network and do not go offline after using a wall switch. In addition, it is possible to use ZigBee Binding, i.e. to directly bind a button to another ZigBee device - without the involvement of the cloud, which ensures immediate response even if the Internet is temporarily absent.

Scenes, schedules and automations

The MINI-ZB2GS-E allows you to create smart scenes - such as automatically turning on lights when motion is detected, or delaying switching on when power is applied. The user can specify the device's behavior when power is restored (Power-On State), including setting a delay to turn on the light, which prevents it from accidentally turning on after a power outage. Schedules and timers allow the lighting operation to be matched to the rhythm of the household members' day, increasing comfort and a sense of security.

Broad compatibility with smart home platforms

The device works with the eWeLink app and Home Assistant (ZHA and Zigbee2MQTT), offering extensive configuration options for more advanced users. It can be used with a number of ZigBee hubs, including ZBBridge-P, ZBBridge-U, NSPanel Pro, iHost and ZigBee donglers (ZBDongle-P/E, Dongle Plus MG24, Dongle Lite MG21). It also supports voice control via Amazon Alexa and Google Home. Integration with Apple Home is only possible via Matter Bridge - requires a compatible Matter gateway and a suitable environment (e.g. eWeLink CUBE).

Safety, durability and easy operation

A housing made of fire-resistant PC plastic, overvoltage and overheat protection, and a long-life relay (up to 100,000 cycles) make the switch suitable for heavy daily use. CE and RoHS certifications confirm the high quality of manufacture. The switch fits standard type 86 mounting boxes and European round boxes (Ø60 mm). Configuration is done in a few steps in the eWeLink app - a compatible ZigBee hub is required for operation, which allows the device to communicate with the smart home system. The SONOFF MINI-ZB2GS-E also supports remote OTA software updates, allowing you to develop its features without disassembly.
