Fabric protection - if the iron is not used in a horizontal position for 20 seconds, the device switches to off mode to prevent burning the fabric. The iron is reactivated when you move it again.

Safety switch-off - if the iron is in an upright position and has not been used for 4 minutes, the device switches to off mode. The iron will reactivate when you use it again.
