The Garmin Forerunner® 55 010-02562-10 is a functional smartwatch designed specifically for running enthusiasts. It has been maintained in black. The model is constructed with a flexible silicone strap that fits comfortably on the wrist, especially when running, a durable plastic case and a Gorilla Glass display that is readable in sunlight. In GPS mode, the watch's battery lasts up to 20 hours, while in watch mode it lasts up to 2 weeks. The device offers a range of features: built-in GPS module for monitoring time, distance, pace and speed while running or walking, wrist heart rate monitor, recommended daily workouts, advanced running features, Pacepro™ technology for pace control, rest assist, race simulator or notifications from your phone. The 50m water resistance rating protects the product during swimming, diving and snorkelling.
Built-in sports apps
The device has several built-in sports apps. You can switch up your workout programme with activity profiles for track or virtual running, pool swimming, Pilates, HIIT and even breathing exercises.
Tracking stress
The watch has stress tracking so you can see if you are having a calm, balanced or stressful day. The device sends relaxation reminders to encourage you to do short breathing activities.
Security and tracking functions
If you feel unsafe or if your watch detects that an incident has occurred, the assistance and incident detection functions can send a message with your location to emergency contacts.
Recommended daily training
This feature provides personalised training guidance, such as daily running recommendations for different intensity runs based on training history, fitness level and recovery time.
